Campbell Supply Co. would like to thank and congratulate the Wanamassa Fire Department for the purchase and delivery of Engine 37-2-78.
Wanamassa’s New Engine 37-2-78 was delivered in January 2006.
Engine 37-2-78 is an American LaFrance Rescue Pumper with a 148" Raised-Roof Eagle Cab. The Pumper is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 Engine that produces 490 horses. It has a heavy duty Allison EVS 4,000 Transmission. The Pumper contains a Waterous CSU Single Stage Pump with a 2,000 GPM capacity that runs off a 1,000 gallon tank. It is also equipped with a Waterous Eclipse CAFS system and a 15kw Harrison generator.
Along side Engine 3-7-78 is Ladder 3-7-90 an American LaFrance Mid-Mount which was purchased from Campbell Supply Co. and put into service in December of 2000.

The Wanamassa Fire Company was founded on February 6, 1922. They are a 100% Volunteer Fire Department, which serves the Township of Ocean District #2, in Monmouth County, NJ. Their department covers everything from water rescue, extrication, decontamination, and fire suppression. The mission of the company is to provide a professional service to the residents of Ocean Twp. at a volunteer price.
Wanamassa Fire Company welcomes all individuals who are 18 years of age or older, and who have been residents of District #2 for at least one year, to apply for Membership into the Fire Company.
